Our story

In 1983, the current owner of Retos Transport, Marian Czapka, got behind the wheel of his first truck and started regular national transport services. This was the beginning of Unitrans, which at its peak had the disposal of 120 trucks. Between 1991 and 2010 Unitrans implemented international road transport using the advice and experience of leading Western transport companies.
The opening of the customs agency in Skoczów complemented the activity and enabled customs clearance on the basis of simplified procedures and storage services in Skoczów.
Following the constant development of transport technology – from IT tools and means of communication to the most modern technical solutions used in trucks – Unitrans took the implementation of the best solutions as a priority. By constantly monitoring the market situation, Unitrans decidated to respond to the needs of  key customers and in 1998 purchased the first auto transport trailer.
In 1998 an independent spedition and transport company - RETOS Transport was seperated from the company. Since the beginning of its activity, the company has been focusing on specialized vehicles transport services, both domestically and internationally. The transport activity of the company could develop dynamically thanks to the qualified steam supporting the forwarding and the logistic background constituing the storage of cars and trucks.
For over 20 years RETOS Transport has been providing services from distribution centres and factories to truck and passenger vehicle dealers throughout Europe.
Custom and warehousing services are provided on the basis of logistics yards in Skoczów, Bieruń and Września, as well as on the basis of the Customs Agency in Skoczów holding an AEO certificate confirming the safety of stored and transported vehicles.
